The Announcement Module in InstiKit is a key component of the Communication Module, designed to help institutions efficiently broadcast important messages to students, faculty, and parents. This module ensures that crucial information reaches the intended audience in a structured and timely manner.

It can be accessed by navigating to the Communication → Announcement ****module. It can be accessed by using the announcement:read permission, and to view logs and admin access, the announcement:view-log and announcement:admin-access permissions are required, respectively.

Managing an announcement

Double-click on an announcement to view its full details. To edit an announcement’s details, click the ‘Edit’ button, and it requires the announcement:edit permission for editing. There, you can modify the details and save them by clicking the ‘Update’ button.

Creating an Announcement

• Click the ‘Add Announcement’ button on the Announcement page.
• Requires the announcement:create permission.
• Enter the announcement title, type, check if its public or not, select the students and employee categories, and description**.**
• Click ‘Save’ to add the announcement to the list.
