The Hostel Module in InstiKit provides a complete solution and allows the users to manage hostel and hostel-related facilities like room allotment to students, hostel in charges, floors and room details of the hostels, etc.

This module is accessed through the Hostel → Hostel ****Module on the sidebar and it requires the hostel:manage permission to manage all the hostel operations.

Managing Hostel Details

To view the full details of a hostel, double-click on it. You can also edit it by clicking the ‘Edit’ button. You can modify the details on the edit page and save it after you’re done.

Adding a Hostel

To add a hostel, click the ‘Add Hostel’ button on the top right of the Hostel page. There, you can enter the following details and save it:

• Name of the Hostel.
• Alias (shortcode).
• Contact Number and Contact Email.
• Address of the hostel
• Description (optional).
