The Student Diary module in InstiKit serves as a digital record-keeping tool for students, teachers, and administrators. It helps track important academic activities, assignments, and daily updates, ensuring smooth communication between students and faculty.

It can be accessed by navigating to Resource → Student Diary and requires the student-diary:read permission for the access and the

student-diary:view-log permission to view the log.

• Homework & Assignments – Students can check their pending assignments and deadlines in one place.
• Event & Activity Tracking – Keep a record of school events, exams, and special announcements.

This module helps students stay organized, enhances communication, and ensures they never miss out on crucial academic updates.

You can also double-click on a record to view its full details. To edit a diary, click the ‘Edit’ button, and it requires the student-diary:edit permission for editing. There, you can edit the details and save them by clicking the ‘Update’ button.
